Queer Azadi Mumbai’s Pride Month is at its best, as all over the city there are numerous events happening to create awareness that the spectrum of gender is wide and does not restrict to male and female only. The LGBTQAI+ community through these events are also trying to portray a strong message that their sexual orientation does not define them. In this spirit, The Qknit along with SIES college department of mass media along with their gender sensitization cell successful hosted Anubhav 20, a youth festival where more than 100 participants in the age bracket of 18 - 30 years came and showcased their talent. Anubhav 20 focused more on competitions like Kullad Painting, Just-a-Minute, Talent Show, AD Making and many other exhilarating competitions. The room was filled with esteemed personalities from the LGBT community and allies who came as Judges and Guests to experience the spirit of today's youth.

During the event, there were many guests who gave sagacity to the participants on the struggles faced by the LGBT community. “When a trans person leaves his or her home, they don’t do it out of choice they do it out of compulsion.” Said Zainab Pari, Director - Diversity and Inclusion, KMPG during her speech on trans bill and how it is affecting today's trans. Through the performances, the audience also got to see the struggles faced by the LGBT Community like forced marriage, acid attacks, forced into prostitution and rape.
